Serving the citizens and residents of any country has formed the main function of governments over the years. Over time, these services have evolved because of the development of the necessities of life, urban growth, and the variables that appear in the social aspects of health, education, entertainment, and others.

The emergence of information and communication technologies has witnessed rapid developments in all previous fields until we reached the era of e-government and its synonyms, such as smart, interconnected, or digital governments etc.
Technological development gave governments tremendous capabilities to provide unprecedented services we did not dream of before. Governments have become obsessed with the sustainable development of their services they provide to their citizens, institutions, visitors, and foreign organizations they have various type of relations with.
The Digital Government is an advanced stage of developed government services that allows governments to best respond to the needs of citizens and the business sectors based on cooperation and communication between government institutions. The Digital Government enables the provision of high-quality public services responding to its customers or beneficiaries’ needs. These services can be accessed through a unified communication service according to the live events of individuals or businesses. The Digital Government also improves efficiency in government operations by eliminating duplication and making better use of scarce public resources. The following attributes characterize the Digital Government:
EGOV11 discusses the vision and strategies that enable institutions and government agencies to transition to the advanced stage of Digital Government. This model creates an integrated and effective system by overcoming organizational barriers and embracing digital transformation. The digital services in this model prioritize accessibility, ease of use, and service priority. EGOV11 explores ways to improve interoperability, data exchange, and governance among institutions to reduce redundancy and bureaucracy, support transparency and accountability policies, and enhance citizen trust and satisfaction.
EGOV11 features a technology exhibition allowing eGovernment and Seamless Government vendors and specialists to introduce their products, views, and services. The Exhibition will allocate booths of various sizes depending on the level of sponsorship category that the various sponsors choose.
