OBJECTIVES
EGOV10 aims at achieving the following objectives:
Highlight the cloud computing initiative, its dimensions, and technical benefits to the automated government systems in Kuwait.
Highlight the economic return of cloud computing in terms of rationalizing spending and raising the productivity of government agencies.
Study the planning, executive, and legislative aspects of the transition to cloud computing.
Demonstrate the best cloud computing companies, systems, and services from global, regional, and local vendors.
Strengthen Kuwait’s image as a promising market for high-tech companies and highlight investment opportunities for cloud computing service providers.
The 10th eGovernment Forum (EGOV10) reflects a critical stage for the future of computing in Kuwait. Government agencies stand on the threshold of strategically entering the era of cloud computing, which sets Kuwait on par with the developed countries globally in information technology.
