Brief

Public-private partnership plays a vital role in implementing major projects through development plans set by countries to lead their people to growth and prosperity. Cooperation and integration between the public and private sectors have become critical in implementing vital projects such as transport, housing, infrastructure, energy, health, and others.

After the great success of the first Kuwait Conference on Public-Private Partnership, which was held in 2021, the Kuwaiti Federation of Engineering Offices and Consultant Houses (KFEOCH) and Razen Events are organizing the second round of KKKPW. PPPKW2 will continue the discussion of many important topics, especially in light of the new development plans and project trends in Kuwait.

PPPKW2 convenes in cooperation with the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), and the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (GSSCPD), and with the participation of all government agencies, private sector companies, and institutions concerned with partnership and development projects.

KFEOCH and Razen Events, through their organization PPPKW2 under the motto “Partnership for Development,” aim to discuss all the executive, legislative and legal aspects necessary to achieve the success of partnership projects. The event will highlight how to overcome the obstacles projects may face and address the best international practices in this field to avoid delays in projects or reasons for failure. Of course, the Kuwaiti experience, compared to the experiences of other countries, will be the subject of an in-depth study to come up with the desired practical recommendations, especially in light of the renewed vision adopted by the State of Kuwait for its development plans.
